On the group ride last night our token former racer from the 90's said he had a lot of tubular rims that he was no longer going to need and he wanted to give them to me. Okay - I like free.
I picked them up tonight and it looks like I may just have to go tubular on the last couple of clincher hold outs including the Gitane Sprint. I've been toying with that idea anyway but didn't have any rims that were ready to go. That's now changed.
6 laced Mavic GP4's and 2 laced (front hub) Mavic GL 330's. Mixture of Campy and Shimano hubs.
