i like to say happy holidays to all. Tomorow i take the old `camping car`
and go for about three weeks to France again, mainly Atlantic coast south of Bordeaux.
At the end of the holidays i will go to Marmande and join the `L`Historique` with my 60`s Gitane, first i liked to take the Team Pro but
the `reglement`said only bikes till 1960 are allowed.
So this weekend i rode that old bike first time `serious`, about 100km
to check it.
Well, sorry Simplex Fans but the plastic derailleur and the levers are now
in a box, changed for good old Campy stuff, as the Simplex couldn`t even
hold a gear! And the levers are impossible to tense. Also i changed that old Ątom`freewheel cause it made very
unhealthy noises to a five speed Regina Oro donored from that 753 Bike.
Now i have 26x47 wich seems quite comfortable for an old fart like me.

Wish you all the best and good save cycling.
Holger
Btw i also lost a bolt from that Dural Forge brakes, i think i have to take
a lot of tools with me.

Have a great time. My family is camping right now which doesn't sound like as much fun as you'll have the next few weeks.
