Grant, welcome to the forum.

The top bike is probably from around 1984 and the bottom from the late 70s.

Can you post some pictures of the right sides of the bikes showing the chainrings and derailleurs? They're the most important part of making a bike go! Also for identifying the models.

I've been trying to figure out why many people post pictures of the left sides of bikes. Is it modesty or fear of mechanical things?

Maybe because most people get on a bike from the left side and that may be due to the greasy chain on the right side??? Confused
