During a recent trip to France I bought a D-G The One frame, which I brought home to Australia and fitted out with a groupset, etc. Sweet machine! I am having a little trouble with the seat tube. This has a tear shaped profile, which can complicate getting a tight grip all round between the the seat tube and seat post. I have asked D-G for some info on procedures and torque values, etc, for this, but I am finding that the seat post is slipping under my weight (which is not a great deal - standard dude weight) into the seat tube. The seat tube clamp has been tightened to a standard force, but it still slips and I do not want to over tighten it. Does anyone have any advice that they could please share. I am keen to get it out on the road!
