Arrgh,
Spraying the color coat on, the wire I was suspending the frame on broke. frame hit the floor. Now the bottom of the head tub is bent. How do I get it round again? |

The bore in the head tube is generally 30.0mm or 30.2mm (around 1 3/16").
Depending on how badly it's bent, sometimes just taping on old headset cup into the bore is enough to round it out.
Another trick is to take a 1/2" drive socket and tap it through the head tube. Start with a smaller size and work up if the dent is large.
Actually anything made of steel that approximate diameter will work. |
