Hi everyone, I've enjoyed reading your previous posts. I just finished my first bike restoration job. My Dad had this bike since forever, and it was hanging in the garage since before I was born. I decided to bring it back to life.
I would love to hear some more accurate info on the year/model. I thought it was a 1970ish, but could be very wrong. It is a 5 speed with Simplex components. That is all I know about it.

This restoration was for my wife, I plan to do one for myself now. Unfortunately my Dad didn't have two Gitanes hanging in the garage for me to rescue.
Thanks for the good words. I'm pretty proud of her myself. After I got done, I was wishing it was a bigger frame (so I could keep it for myself). Fits my 5'1" wife pretty good, I'm 6'2" and I can barely ride it 
I'm sure I'll be leaning on you guys for advice once I start the next one.
