This one I got ripped off on and the guy promised that the frame was in great shape. Came in a box with no wrapping what so ever and half opened.

I threw everything away since there was nothing of any use. Each piece was trashed; wheels, stem, bars, even simplex seat post dented and useless.

The Frame "looked" fine for a minute and I was happy that at least something was OK until I saw that some idiot broke and rebrazed the rear drop out.

So this is one dead team pro bike. If someone in the Paris area wants a
frame to trade for something then contact me. If not, then take it for free and convert into a fixie, The front forks are fine.

That really sucks. Got any recourse with the seller?

Dan,

That's too bad... Evil or Very Mad

The original picture looked salvageable. Sad

I ran across a bike like that in the 70s. Didn't see the problems until I got it home. Almost nothing was usable on a decent bike. Mad

Rolling Eyes
