They seldom turn up in this condition. It also has unusual secondary markings which I have never seen before. Here is the normal FT 54 I would not be surprised, as Chas. said, that it sold to a Japanese collector. There are a number of well to do Japanese collectors who collect French bike components. In general they are not into cycling but collect these components as a hobby like some folks collect stamps, never to see the light of day again! If it's a piece they want in very good to NOS condition, they'll pay exorbitant prices. They usually have agents buy these items for them! _________________ Chas.
