I bought this bike from a dealer going out of business in 1987. I am not sure of the model. It looks like it might be a Performance or a Record. Could someone please verify this for me?

Does it have any tubing decals?
Also, just a tip for the future: Always take a picture of the drive-side of the bike. Helps to examine the components! |

The tubing decal reads reynolds 501.
I believe the componets are not stock. I think he used components available in the shop.
The front derailleur is shimano 600 and the rear is a shimano light action.
The crank is suntour cyclone.
The brakes are dia compe.
It's the only picture I have right now.
My son was in an accident with it and bent the fork, so it is apart and awaiting a new one. |
