There is no difference between Nuovo Record and all but the last Super Record crank arms. The difference was in the chainrings and bottom brackets.
Super Record parts became "commercially" available in 1974. They were produced until about 1987.
In the mid to late 80s, SR cranks didn't have the flutes in the arms.
Here's the date codes:
From 1973 - 1979 the year of crank manufacture is the last digit in a diamond stamped on the back side of the arms.
From 1980 - 1984 the year of crank manufacture is the last digit in a circle stamped on the back side of the arms.
"11" in a rectangle means 1985, "22" means 1986, and "33" means 1987 stamped on the back side of the arms. |
