Bought this in Lille because I like these frames and I needed a summer project while on vacation in the mountains in south of France
Very rusty but found very close matching spray paint and did spot priming and spot painting and pretty good results. I believe that the metal flakes are in the clear coat like on 90's team replica which made matching difficult but everything worked out on this Vitus 999 frame.
Probably from the later 90's with "Funny" decals.

Favorite Simplex seatpost
Almost favorite aerobottle
Shimano 105 headset, BB
Pedals? Maillard 700's
Don't laugh at plant in background since it is 30 years old and will outlast us a ll with diet of only "Pure"Evian water.

| Sweet!! What's your plans for the bike? Hopefully not a wallhanger - I love those "funny" bikes from that era - so different, but with a purpose. |
