This is the first model probably made 1973. They were originally called the "Get-Away.

It has pre-1974 foil decals. The Huret Honeycomb rear dropouts first appeared on French Gitanes in late 1973.

The later version of the Traveller came with alloy rims and a Sugino Maxi alloy cotterless crank. It was about 3 lbs. lighter than the 30 Lb. original version.

We sold 2-3 of these in the mid 1970s. They came with a red cloth carrying bag.
