Stronglight A9 Headset

The new style Stronglight A9 headsets have precision sealed ball bearings rather than the roller bearings used in the past.

I installed a new one of these in my 1984 Team Pro a few months back.

They're very well made and should provide years of trouble free service.

BTW, the first time that I saw a Stronglight Needle Bearing headset I thought that they were really cheaply made. After overhauling several and using them I changed my mind. They are a great design. They work well even when too tight or too loose.
