The junk boxes at olde bike shops...
eBay - buy a whole crank and cannibalize it...
Find an olde "donor" bike cheap ~$20...
Salvation Army and other thrift shops are good places to start.
Back in the bike boom era the quality of many steel cranks were so poor that we had to replace them on many new bikes that we assembled.
In 1973 Gitane sent us a crate of 100 replacement cranks...
I come to bury cottered cranks... not to praise them |
