Hey,
I just bought this Gitane frame with Nervex lugs. I know that it is not the original painting, but can somebody guess, when the frame was build/which type this is? It seems like the original color of the frame is a metallic blue.

Welcome to the Forum.
Looks like a mid 1960's (1964? -1967) lower end Gitane made with carbon steel tubing. Maybe a Venger model?
The forks on the mid range and and above models where 1/2 chrome plated and the rear triangles on the top models were 1/2 chrome plated too.
They could have been chrome plated but rusty and painted over???
Your frame has stamped steel dropouts and forkends. The better quality Gitane models had Campagnolo forged steel dropouts and forkends.
They were made with all French Durifort brand tubing or Durifort forks and rear triangles with Reynolds 531 main tubes. A few were made with all Reynolds 531 tubing.

Your frame should make a nice riding bike.
It will probably take a 25.8mm seatpost. The stem is 22.0mm, the old French standard.
The bottom bracket will have 35mm x 1mm cups and the headset is going to be 25mm x 1mm - standard French threads.
The forkends will probably fit a 96mm wide front hub - the French standard vs. 120mm the current standard.
