I sent a message to the seller...that it may not be what it appears to be. From the appearance, it looks to be a Super Corsa (at least the frame). I don't think the forks are original, but they have the wierd feature that my 1987 Gitane has regarding the filing of the inside of the fork tips.
The decals are clearly crap...and whoever did it, apparently thought that Gitane was italian, which is actually a more common occurence than one would think.
If anyone is interested in the bike, I would be happy to pick it up for them, as Whittier is nearby. |

| im not buying it , looks photoshopped.theres bubbles under the decals but not right under the black part of made in italy.it dont look like its part of the decal. |

Strangely similar looking Chartreuse paint to your Touring Bike---Chas,
I've seen lots of new and different things here on the forum --but I didn't know about the early 70's Italian "Aerodynamic model"

"Da plane - shes-a-no-fly" 
What we were told by Alitalia Airlines when they stranded us at the Milano airport one night in 1989.
In reality, the crew of the plane that we were supposed to fly out on had a snit and called a mini strike. The plane was sitting in the Rome airport all night with the crew on board! 
They dragged us all over the Milano airport all night, running us back and forth through customs about 4 times. Italy, one of the few countries that I visited where I had to go through customs to leave!

The forks are identical to the ones on my late 60s Tour de France.
Thanks for the offer. It's too big for me otherwise it would go nice with my 2 other chartreuse green Day-Glo bikes.

| Wierd about the inside part of the fork tips...that they didn't file them in the 1960's or the 1980's. I have yet to see another bike that has the same feature. |
