Does the 72 indicate the head tube angle? Something else? BTW - I went to visit a guy I know called Darrell McCulloch who builds Llewellyn frames. He's kinda like the aussie version of Richard Sachs. Forgot that I have two frames hanging behind me on the wall...interestingly enough.... One is a 1985/6 Gitane "Professionnel" frame. The other is a 2004 Gitane "Airplane", on which I was riding when a car was driven through me...or did I go through the car??? There's some leeway in construction and the tubes cane be moved around before brazing. Chas.
