Hi all, i am new here on the forum. I built up my 1974 gitane super pista earlier this year as quickly as possible just to get riding but am now trying to restore it to as close to original parts as i can. I have just sourced some lovely track forks and am now looking for bars, can anyone tell from the catalogue shot, or know for sure, what model drops they are?
cheers |

at the moment it is in commute mode so doesn't look too pretty. will post pics if you want though...
really need to get some track forks to tighten it but cant find any with a long enough steerer, needs to be 24cm as i dont want to have to work on the frame or buy a CK Gripnut.
could anyone point me in the direction of a good track fork?
otherwise it will have to be one of these...http://spicercycles.com/itemlist.cfm?pageId=83 |

How about this from Soma:
http://store.somafab.com/sothfo.html
It comes in chrome, but the longest steerer tube is 230mm
American Cyclery in San Francisco is carrying Tange track forks, as well. |
