He is riding a Raleigh.... You're right, it's a Raleigh Team Reynolds 753 bike. Could have been a loaner bike but they usually say Service Corse or something like that on the top tube. I thought greg used della santa bikes in his amateur days. There was a NOS Dela Santa Team Z frame on eBay a while back. It was being auctioned by someone who works/worked with Dela Santa and sells a lot of NOS stuff out of Reno, NV. The seller said that it was built as a backup for Lemond but he never used it so it was still NIB. I threw a $1k bid at it but wasn't even close to the selling price. Bet you anything it's now in the Horton collection. Haven't met him, but my mate Dazza is really impressed with Brett Horton. Good bloke. Of course, you could just get DS to make you a NNS(new, new stock) bike in your size............ (but it wouldn't be greg's spare bike would it) But of course, any bike with 56ST, 57TT, 73*HTA & 72.5* STA, could be a spare bike for greg! Don't quote me on those numbers, but I think it was something like that. The first Z team pic from 1990 shows the TVT bikes he used badged as GL. Not everyone on the team rode carbon at that point. The second pic of the TT bike in 1992 is one of the first Calfee he used. Had very cool webbed lugs. Looked like the "bat-bike". Greg had Calfee make bikes for the whole team, badged as GL. They still do superbe work. They are to trek what richard sachs is to gitane. As for LOOK, The 753 steel frames were the first LOOK frames. They came out with the carbon tubed aluminum lugged frame shortly after. The very first carbon LOOK's were actually TVTs. I have a KG86 from 1987 and it has "TVT" drop outs and bottom bracket stamp. The fork also had a TVT decal At some point, I think LOOK bought TVT.
