Apologies if this has been posted before, but I was noticing the pics of the front tips where the outside of the stay has been filed to allow clearance for the QR, but the inside has been left unfinished. I guess paying someone to file for half the time add up when manufacturing large numbers........ |

I think we figured out that this was another one of the "special qualities" which are unique to Gitane. I haven't found another manufacturer who has cut corners (no pun intended) like this. |
