So I rode with these shoes on Saturday. Ever since my first pair of shoes (Dettos), I have, without fail, ONLY used Sidi shoes. I have never had problems with them,and figured if it ain't broke...etc.
I have to say that I never experienced what people were talking about regarding shoe "flex" until Saturday. Those Rivat's are like wet noodles! When I got back home, I compared my c1987 Sidis with the Rivats, and was amazed at the diffrence in sole stiffness.
No wonder Rivat is not around anymore! |
