Wisey,
After the conversation Chas and I had a few weeks back I don't think you'd get out of it that easy.

No, I'm just mocking you because it's fun .

Is that Johan Brueneal you are getting race tactics from on the mobile? Maybe if I zoom in on the photo enough, I'll be able to make out his number........
That Holdsworth is a smart looking machine! |

Thanks Wisey, it was my birthday gift to myself.
It's a 1984 Reynolds 753 frame that I got from the UK. I bought it because I thought it would have a nice cushy ride, maybe like a Hetchins.
It's a full on racing bike. It's climbs like nothing else I've ridden and handles curves on the descent like it's on rails. The bike's a little twitchy on the flats and stiff as a board. It weighs about 19 Lbs. with tubies.
BTW, Johan's yelling "ATTACK! ATTACK!" and I'm telling him "I can't hear you, I have a bad connection!"

Strange that cyclingnews.com didn't have anything on this...and I got the news first from the TV. For all of those as confused as I was when I read Wisey's post, Leipheimer fell 3 K from the line yesterday. It didn't look so bad at the time, but apparently he broke his wrist, and is out of the tour. A big blow to Armstrong for sure. |

Chas.:
That last picture you posted was awesome. I think I may dedicate a page to your pictures....
Did you see the post regarding the proper wheel size for an interclub or something similar? I figured you would be the best person to answer the guy's question. It is in the "vintage" folder.

Anybody want to change their vote after today's stage? Contador was very impressive. |
