This is outrageous.
This is how Gitane bikes die in Paris. I've lived in the neighbourhood for nearly 3 years now and it's been sitting there since then.

Perhaps it is in need of liberation? |

A very Honest Country/Community. If it was in a US City, within 24 hours it would only be the Frame sitting on the Street if the owner was lucky. Surprised the Police have not impounded it.

Nicolas,
The bike is in super condition (as well as being almost complete) for having been there for that long, not to mention the lack of vandalism. It's good to see from that perspective but could it be a ghost bike?
Thanks for the shots.

At this point, it is probably nice to see it every day. If the police or someone else removes it, it will be like losing a part of the neighborhood.
Once something has survived on its own so long, it is sometimes fun to see how long it will remain. |

Nicolas,
You could likely make 100+ Euros selling the parts on eBay depending on what they are. The TA rack, cleaned up, would fetch 15+ Euros alone. Someone is going to get it one day...why not you?
