Happy New Year to everyone. Hope you have a great 2010 ... one which sees you out on the bike often and keeping the rubber-side down always.

Here is a picture from a Saturday ride this past weekend. Yes, I am the one in the Systeme U kit (actually it is the "Histor" jersey). You can't really see it, but that is a 1987 Gitane Team Pro, 1987/88 Sidi shoes (the blue ones), and the bib shorts are of a local French team sponsored by Systeme U. Even the water bottle was Systeme U...period correct! It was like Halloween, what with me in my "retro-grouch" costume!

Great photo, Stephan.

Going to be awhile until I get out - 4 inches of slushy, gross snow today and it's still coming down. So, instead, I got a little therapy by swapping out cables/housing and a rear derailleur on the Sprint yesterday.

Congratulations, Stephan.

Keep the rubber side down? How about "most of the time?"

I missed the 200k Brevet I had entered for Jan 3 but no worries, I can pick it up again.

See you on the road.

Jim

Nice photo Stephan. Those long shadows with the cool looking light add to the retro look. Great start to the year.

Thanks for posting and a Happy New Year too.

Tim
