New to forum...I have had my beloved Gitane Grantour in storage for far too long...I'm finally ready to part with her. Lot's of amazing adventures with this bike. She is in great shape having been stored in our fitness room in our house all these years. I took this pic today. Not sure what I should be asking for her. I have her pedals on another road bike right now so she would be complete. Any ideas?

What to charge? "Value" is so subjective! I just sold one of those framesets...or did I trade it? I can't remember now. Very nice bikes. My wife wants one (again). Perhaps I will end up buying yours? For that reason, I cannot speculate as to a fair price!!!

Welcome to the site. Beautiful bike.

Well...here you go: There is a larger size model available as frameset only on ebay right now. Worse condition, but you should see what it sells for to give you an idea as to the value:

Thanks for the information and the link. This bike is close to "like new" I purchased it to ride a 360 mile Sagbraw ride in 1984, did one century ride after that and then just rode her for fun around our neighborhood before getting a new bike for racing. She was retired then and kept in storage. I was asked what size frame. I don't remember so I'll have to measure and get back to you. I am 5'5 if that helps but again, I will do the calculations for frame size and get back to the forum. She's a beauty. I'm hoping for a good home for her.
