figured I'd add some pictures.
We do "citizens" racing at the local velodrome so the 7 y.o. needed a road bike. Which got me looking to vintage bikes bacause "they just don't make 'em like that anymore" Found this 500A Midget Racer on CL and cleaned it up, put new bar tape, cables and Hutchisons on.
Probably the best geometry for a kids road bike I've seen.
She rides it everywhere. Did the 50 mile loop of the North Shore Century (a big organized bike ride here) on it.
