Collective sigh of relief from Germany! They didn't look great, but did enough to win the game. Now bring on England. Hopefully, Germany is a bit sharper for the next game.
The USA is in a very good position. They play Ghana, which hasn't scored a goal that hasn't been a PK. If they can get past Ghana (which will be tough, but doable), then they play the winner of Uruguay v. South Korea. The USA has a real chance, if all goes well, of getting into the Semifinals, which would be a real coup for USA soccer.
Germany or England, on the other hand, must face (in all likelihood) Argentina next (Arg. plays Mexico).
The going really gets tough at this point for all teams involved. |

now we have won one theres no stopping us. bring on the germans no problem as for the argies we still owe maradona for "the hand of god" goal he cheated with last time!
just about to watch usa ghana so good luck there.
uruguay are through as we speak so chance for usa to progress i would say |
