You will probably get better results if you list that the bike is for sale.
Your message is buried at the end of a 'zombie" thread from Jan. 2015.
I'd start a new post describing the bike and then mention that it's for sale.
You could also list it for sale in BikeForum.com or one of the other forums involved with classic bike. You have to join to post but that's easy. |

I can't sell it. I don't need the money and I know I will regret it
I like the frame but not the simplex stuff.
I have a complete shimano 6400 and wheels I would like to use in this bike. I think I will keep the brakes and change the rest.
How difficult is to get a bottom bracket that fits this bike (french thread) with the newer 6400?
Can somebody advise me before I regret it. |
