My wife has become "tolerant". I just leave all the bikes in the shop and she only comes over periodically. She and my kids think I'm nuts. As long as I do all I can to keep from impacting the family finances I'm good (that's why most of my rides are considered frankenbikes). I don't add much to the stable anymore and will probably sell a bike if I want to get another one. The only bucket list bike I have these days is a 1984 Gitane touring bike - but that will come later when my kids are older and I find the right one.

I just hung four up that won't see much riding because they either 1) don't fit well 2) are too fragile or 3) are the odd one out.

Those four are: a late 60's Peugeot PL8, a 1984 Peugeot PSV (too tall), a Teledyne Titan and my daughters 1982 Trek 610.

My '84 Gitane TdF is my normal hill climbing racing machine but that will probably change now that I have my dad's Spectrum. I did do a 102 mile ride on the TdF and loved the ride. My '84 Gitane Sprint is my favorite road bike and usually the one I grab first. It's the shortest at 52 cm and, unfortunately, has a short top tub. I'm on the hunt for a 130mm stem so it will be set up properly. Both Gitane's run Mavic tubular rims.

I'm building a French gravel grinder for the Cino Heroica ride in MT in September (I haven't done it but it's a fantastic ride). I've got one bike for wet roads (fenders), a drop bar converted mtb and two regular mtbs.

Believe it or not I ride every single one throughout the year. The Trek (wet weather bike) saw most of the action in January and now that roads clear up the Spectrum is getting the miles. The Gitane's will hit the road about April when the winter sand and gravel is cleaned by the county road department.

Annually I'm around 3000 miles a year with 4000 as the goal this year.

I get on at least once a week, maybe twice if I get more time. I only have 3 bikes, nowhere near some of you, so my wife doesn't mind too much.

Hadn't looked in for quite a while, but the last couple of weeks I've been visiting every couple of days. Lots of yard work has kept me from much time on the bike, but I'm really going to try to do a century on my Gitane by the end of the year.

Signed up three years ago, but mostly lurk. I've got the Cino bug at the moment as riding season has finally started again here. If it works out, my wif will be riding my dad's old '73 TdF on the Cino. See you there, Scozim Wink

Signed up back in October and checked in from time to time, but will be much more often now that I've finally landed a 1972 SC frameset. Sort of reliving my childhood so to speak. Back in 1971 while in college I bought a brand new sport orange TdF. Paid $300 for it by the time I paid off the layaway fees and interest they charged. Think the bike was listed at around $260 at Mike Hall's Bike Mart in Dallas.

Picked up the frameset last night (Picts in post titled Super Corsa Frame?

A big thumbs up to everybody, I wasn't looking for a traffic count or anything like that, just wondering who visits on a regular basis. We have over a 1000 sign ups I think. I try to keep the spammers off the site the best I can . I'm pretty open minded about post but one thing I won't tolerate is spamming, kitchens , software deals, etc. I will ban immediately for that. Knock on wood , I haven't any in quite some time. Evil or Very Mad

thanks for the god powers Stephan. I think our website rocks and don't really know of other sites dedicated to just a specific brand as ours does. We've come along way from yahoo groups Laughing
