Gives new meaning to Clydesdale....
Here's a 73cm frame I built for a basketball player back around 1976 or 77. I made it out of heavy gage Columbus SP tubing with a straight gage 4130 seat tube, down tube and seat stays. That's a meter stick I'm holding. It had about a 38" standover height.
I had ham sized thighs and I bent several steel cranks while honking riding off road but your report from Interbike.... wow!
I was never a great climber either but I was good at time trials and sprints.
About the bike, unfortunately since there are no brand name decals or substantiated history I don't think that it would bring more than ~$200 on eBay if you sold it as a complete bike. Here's a breakdown if you parted it out - condition is everything and cleaned up parts bring a little more:
Frame with headset $30-$150
Cranks $65-$125
Metric Campy Bottom Bracket (in good condition) $50-$100
Pedals $10-$35
Rear Derailleur $25-$40
Front Derailleur $15-$25
Shift Levers $15-$35
Bottom Bracket Cable Guide $10-$15
Chainstay Cable Guide $3-$10
Seat Post $25-$50
Ideale Seat $35-$90 (depending on condition)
Brake Levers $35-$60
Brakes $50-$125
Top Tube Brake Cable Clamps $15-$25
Wheels $50-$100
Stem $5-$10
Bars $10-$35
As you can see, parting it out could bring you close to $450. Again condition is everything. YMMV
You might do better on Craigs List
PM me if you want to sell it outright but I've blown my year end mad money so I couldn't offer much.

Now we know why he's "BigMark"--neat article--I can only image the type of stress these big hp fellows produce on frames and lugs.
Oh, by the way, Nice Beard !!!
