I have purchased and received one of these bottom brackets from Velo-orange for my Tour de France. The quality is fantastic. No cheap plastic, It has nice chrome plating on the spindle. It's very smooth and sealed tight. I won't have to re-pack next time I get caught in an all-day rain. I do like the old spindle, cup, and loose bearing bottom brackets but mine was in terrible condition.

R531,
What length did you get? Are you using a Stronglight 93 crank set?

Jay,

Go for the 116mm for a double.

Original Stronglight BBs were "usually" 118mm for doubles on a 68mm BB and 123mm or 125mm for a triple.

Chas.,

Thanks, that's what I was figuring, as I have 118mm on my doubles and 125 on the triple, all Stronglight 93's.

I don't need one of the VO's, I was just curious.

Jay

Reynolds531,

What type of wrench does the new VO bottom bracket use?

Thanks,
