Hello All,
I am new here and hoping that you can help me identify a bike I picked up at a local thrift store. I can not find anything similar to it in a women's frame online and am hoping that you can bring me some insight. I am looking to restore it but need some assistance in identifying it.

PLEASE REPLACE THE BLACK PLASTIC 'ATAX' SEAT POST ASAP!!!!!
These had a habit of breaking, and they are all over 20 years old now. You can use any 25.8mm seat post. Your local bike shop should be able to get a basic one in that size and also in a black finish if you want to keep the bike looking original.
From your photos, it looks like its all original. A good service and a polish up, and hopefully you'll be cruising. All the best.

Interesting frame. All the catalog says is "lugless chromoly." It doesn't look tig welded, and doesn't have any visible filet. There's no place to hide globs of excess brass. The brazing is really neat compared to my early 70s Super Corsa. I suppose the guys had 15 years experience under their belts.

Re: lugless....
The tubes were mitred as usual, then a ring of brass was inserted into the end of the mitred tube, butted up against the adjoining tube, then roasted. Another of the time saving processes explored in the 80s before TIG welded steel, and before we moved on to aluminium as the material of choice.
