New Toy for my old toy...

I just purchased this crankset. I have never seen anything like this before...it is going to go onto the circa 1960 Gitane commuter bike that I recently bought. I think I will invest in the chrome job for it, along with some other bits on the bike (bar and stem).

The crankset arrived yesterday in the mail. It is manufactured by "Durax", and is quite spectacular. However, it does have serious rust issues (not structural though!). I soaked it last night in Evaporust and spray painted it this morning to help halt the corrosion. I will have it re-chromed in the future.

Anyone have any information on Durax as a parts manufacturer?
