The is a really nice 62cm (center to top - 24 1/2" nominal) Tour de France frame on eBay

My guess is that it's a 1972 or 73 model.
Lynne F posted pictures of her light blue TdF last year. This is the only other light blue TdF that I've seen.

I'd heard rumors that the guys that painted Bianchis back in the day mixed up the color every morning so their famous "Celeste" could range from "sick room" green to Mylanta blue!
I suspect that the same thing happened at Gitane. They mixed blue or turquoise candy apple lacquer with white to make a light blue color.
I've seen everything from a pale robin's egg blue to the dark almost turquoise blue on my 1972 Super Corsa.
Wine at least 3 times a day is good for the body, spirit and paint job!

Chas.,
Were there that many shades of what I think of as 'Match Blue' from the early 70's? The eBay bike looks to be the same color as my 71-72 TdF. (see "Jay's 71-72 TdF finished" in Owner Gallery of Forum)
The eBay bike appears not to have the rear brake cable bridge on the seat stays. It also has short point lugs.

When you see them close together you can tell the difference. My 72 SC is almost a deep turquoise blue. There appears to have been some actual turquoise bikes:
About 1972-73 Gitane switched from Prugnat long point lugs to Bocama short point lugs on the TdFs. They also dropped brake cable bridge.

Chas.,
On your Super Corsa, how close is the frame color to the Blue "World Logo" on the foil seat tube decal?
