No "vintage gitane" content here, but I am posting it anyways. Why? Because I am the moderator! This is my site, and I can do whatever I want! Think of it as a benevolent dictatorship! Anyhow, here is my story:

This morning, after stopping for coffee along Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) in Corona del Mar, California, I spotted about 15 riders of the Garmin team riding south on PCH, with their team car following them. Pretty fun to see...would have liked to have been riding at the time to have them pass us on the road. Didn't spot any individual riders, but I thought it was interesting enough to post it here on this site!

No problem with you posting it. It would be cool to see that. Wonder if they were there for the Tour of California announcement or just regular training?

Just wondering....... as a lawyer, have you ever come across the term: "rule of law"? Twisted Evil

Nice spot sandman. Maybe you should keep that cell phone camera handy, eh? I'm sure those boys must stop for coffee somewhere. If you find out where that is, you could "just happen" to be there one time when they ride in.................... Wink

Regarding the "Rule of Law": That is a relatively new concept which only applies in a few countries, mostly in the "western tradition". Prior to that (and remaining in most countries world-wide today), the "law" was whatever the ruler (or ruling party) said it was. With regards to this website, I am a strict traditionalist, and run it more like a Monarchy than a Constitutional Republic. So, while I have heard of the "Rule of Law", here, that Rule is Me! Laughing

I was thinking about the camera on my cell phone, but I had just gotten back onto my bike, and my phone was in my back pocket. I was heading the other direction...so no time! Hopefully, they will still be around and I will run into them again.
