Hi,

About to buy this Gitane Track frame and would like to know which model it is. Cant find it in any catalog.

Here's a similiar one. Which apparently is an Gitane Mexico in Reynolds tubes:

But the guy i'm buying it from says its made of 'Carbon 109, Single reduced tubes'. Which sounds like Reynolds 531 to me?

All help appreciated.

Thanks,

And do anyone here have a french threaded matching BB for sale here?

I've got this track frame from -85 and its made of columbus tretubi. (which means that only three main tubes are columbus) Fork and lugs look similar to yours.

I don't know my bikes model either since I haven't find it in any catalog. All I know is the year because I have seen my bike before I got it when it still had decals on and they were -85 style.

Nice bike you got there. Good luck with research.

What kind of dropouts? I think it would likely be a model "Mexico", 3 tubes Reynolds, from circa 1980:
