I picked up what I believe is a 1980 Criterium that was practically new. It had the correct parts for a criterium.
The frame is marked Super Vitus 971 and the fork is marked Super Vitus 980. Did they ever come this way? The availability of tubing stickers on ebay concerns me.
The 1980 French catalog doesn't mention Vitus tubing and there is no English language one available for viewing, to my knowledge.
Also, does anyone know the weight limit for a Super Vitus frame and fork? Is there a weight limit for one of those Spidel seatposts with the end swaged and pinned on? |
