Hello, can anyone give me a hand in finding/selecting what type of replacement brake pads I can use for my Mafac Competition and Mafac LS side pull brakes.
I see Kool Stop mentioned but? The Mafac LS's have worn out "shoes" and replacements seem to have been sold in the past as a complete holder and pad unit. Kool Stop sells parts that look like they could work such as their Supra II , Continental or Campy replacement.
Thank you for any advice.

Dan,
The NEWLY introduced Kool Stop reproductions of the Mafac 4 dot pads for your Competitions are wonderful. They have finally started to show up on eBay for a little under the suggested retail of $24-$25. They are available in the black or salmon compound. They fit perfectly in the holders.
Regarding the LS Brakes, I have no idea as I am not familiar with them.

Hello Jay, thats what I will try. Thanks for help. For the LS side pulls, I have found some cheap later style pieces in the local sports store and so I will experiment.
