Just wanted to publicly acknowledge Chas for his ongoing professional advise for us forum-ites and the personal assistance that I received from him as well in getting one of my delinquent frames back from a certain painter. He was also kind enough to assist the painter with a color match from his own gitane stable of frames, as the bicycle is a gift that I'm giving to wife (pictures posted to the Gitane "owner's gallery").

Though it arrived well after our cycling tours for the spring/summer, it's always fun to figure out what parts to install from my old parts bin and color combinations to use. Still waiting for my daily Gitane rider to come back from the same painter, but that's another story Wink

When that comes in, I'll finally be able to go riding w/my wife, as the intended color scheme for my bicycle will be the complete opposite to hers.
