Hi, Here it is after a quick couple of days rebuild. The bike was more worn out than I remembered and I had forgotten that several nonoriginal pieces were put on after various crashes etc. New grease, bearings, chain, cables, tires, and some stickers I had.

Paint is thin in some areas from knees hitting/ use and ideale 90 seat has no more markings on it from being pretty well worn-in but still ok for riding.

Missing some of the stickers but had some laying around and took some liberty in placement but looks good and pretty close to how it is in the catalogue. Still some things to finish but next time

Anyway, it rides great and is out of harms way and ready for my next trip home.

Cleans up nice. I really like that shade of green. It seems lighter than the Grand Sport green. Don't know if it was different, or if this one has merely improved with age.

Sweet looking TdF.

Hi Dan

Yes, the green is my personal favourite too. Looks great.

But what I really love is that letterbox. That is seriously cool.

The green was always very light in color and very thin with the silver base coat coming through. When I bought the bike new I remember thinking that the paint was a bit shity but it was the only big frame TDF in the shop. There is also fade from Calif. sun and much use.

Mail boxes are well supported and not original. Thay are replacements for the old ones that died and are now buried in the dump rotting away.
