Hi all,
This is my first post here. I am building up an early 70s Gitane grand sport, and I am looking for a 60mm stem (22mm plunger / 25mm clamp). I have seen older stems on ebay sometimes, but I am concerned about the weight, and I am not really into the look of a big clunky bolt sticking out of the top.
Right now I have an atax stem that is just a bit too long, but I prefer the minimal look of the more modern stem.
Any suggestions on where to find a shorter stem like my atax? Or am I pretty much confined to searching ebay and the option above?
