Saw this posted on Craigslist in North Carolina I believe. I don't see a US spec Reynold's 531 frame in the catalogs. Looks like a pretty nice bike.

The text:
Gitane road bike purchased in Germany in early 80's. I am the second owner buying the bike seventeen years ago in Florida. The bike has been stored in the garage and ridden very infrequently. Ony 2-3 minor paint chips.

-531 Reynolds steel frame
-All original Shimano Dura Ace components
-12 speed
-Shimano 600 hubs
-Matrix wheels

I saw this one awhile ago and had some email exchanges with the owner. I'm somewhat local (a few hours away) and was planning to check it out but never made the time. For the most part it looks like a 'Vuelta' but the tube decals/parts/fork combo don't sync date wise - another Gitane mystery bike

For $400 it could be a hidden gem for an unsatisfied soul.
