So...this is "breaking news", and not available anywhere else but here on GitaneUSA.com!
There will be a limited amount of Gitane framesets available in the USA for the first time in years, starting very soon!
The Gitane "Citylink" frame will be sold here by Bianchi USA, who brought a few of these over to test the waters for Gitane!
More details to come...but you are the VERY FIRST to hear about this!
They will retail for $399 for the frameset, and will only be available in the "cream" color. |

This is sensational news. However, since I'm looking for a Gitane road frame, perhaps such is in the cards if this frame garners a good response. I am also upset at the deletion of the Gitane name on the new The One ISP framesets; however, I might be inclined to take one, if Cycleeurope would send some our way.
I was racking my brain recently as to the precursor of the Definitive line. Sure enough, the "Gitane Exclusive" sub-brand appeared as the top range of the Gitane lineup in 2004. That quartet was, in my opinion, a group of serious velos. Of course, they did retain the Gitane name.
