Not sure if the jockey wheels are the same as the Simplex SX610 derailleur or not. My 610 had a broken wheel and I was able to swap in one from an old Shimano Tourney derailleur and it worked well.

ok thanks
the jockey wheels on the mech seem to be alloy instead of plastic for some reason but are worn smooth so the chain has scraped
the cage on inside
i may try to find a simplex nos mech off e bay i figure the jockeys will all be the same diameter . these are a 6mm bolt through them

Aluminum Alloy Jockey Wheels?

If the jockey wheels are aluminum alloy then they are after market replacements. Those alloy pulleys were made by several suppliers including Bullseye in the US. They are always listed on eBay.

I liked to use them on Suntour and Shimano derailleurs. Those Japanese makes used hard plastic pulleys that took a long time to wear smooth so that they didn't transmit too much vibration through the chain to the pedals.

Simplex pulleys are just a tad over 10mm wide across the metal dust caps and have a 6mm mounting hole. Any pulleys with those dimensions that are approximately the same diameter will work fine.

The later Suntour and Shimano pulleys used a little softer plastic.
