Hi to all,
I'm needing an older Ideale saddle for Gitane rebuild from the late 60s ~ early 70s (record or competition?). If anyone has a saddle that is in good shape that they would like to sell, if you could PM me, that would be great ... otherwise I'll start trolling ebay for one ;-(

| Found a couple of french saddles that were near NOS mid sixties and early seventies, though it took longer to find at a decent price. Didn't realize how hard they were to locate other than the one's posted to ebay. |

The Japanese collectors have a special fetish for Ideale saddles.
The sad thing is most of them will go into collections and never see the light of day again.
Most Japanese French bike component collectors are not cyclists. It's a hobby for them like stamp collecting! 
I think that I have an extra Ideale 80 saddle. I'll PM you if I do. |
