Got the Mektronic to work and does so pretty well.

Front wheel will go when find something else but the 26" tire holds air just enough to try for spin.

Needed the 9 speed cassette for the derailleur to work so found one (Shimano HG) and added to a Mavic 3G rear wheel.

Added cartridge Stronglight BB that puts everything a bit close to stays but I think OK unless things flex too much. Cheep BB which says "Made in France" on box and for 20$ so thought real French product-great- but actually made in east Europe. Not China at least.

Built a little support for the little Mavic computer, which stands on the carbon blade front bars.

Typical genius French derailleur wireless system that uses pedaling force to actually change gears once a small solenoid sets up the shift movement by blocking and unblocking the derailleur jockey wheel which forces the derailleur to move.

Found a full set of operating instructions and just to understand everything is nearly impossible with images all over and several languages etc. and thus guaranteeing total failure of the product. They actually say this in part of the description:
“The pulley oscillates a ratchet bar back and forth via a sine wave shaped cam....

This is only one side of the instructions.

This is typical of the French who have invented just about everything (go to the museum “Arts et Metiers” in Paris if you don’t believe me) and then screw up somewhere so that it does not sell.

Other examples of the best that can’t sell are the Dassault Rafale and the Citroen C6, etc.

Real road test in several weeks unless in plane crashes.
