I agree with you Nicolas, really GOOD read! 
Slaying The Badger was published in 2011. I recently bought a copy and just finished reading it. It was well written and hard to put down.
The book gives an insight into the inner workings of professional bike racing in Europe plus intimate sketches of the lives and personalities of some of the big players.
It focuses on the events during the 1986 TdF but tries to explain more about Bernard Hinault than the other players involved. |
