Hello, I was given this bike by my uncle who had stored it away for quite awhile. I was wondering what model this bike is and the year. I have not been able to find a bike that looks like this one online. Below are the listed parts on it and picture links. Thank you.
Rims -MA 40
Crank -Shimano 600
Hubs -Dura Ace
Pedals -Shimano Deore XT
Stem -ITM
Drop Bars -MOD Italian super training
Brakes -Shimano 105 BR5700

Very nice bike but I don't think that it's a Gitane...

Someone has been selling these mixed sets of Gitane decals on eBay.

The silver foil down tube decals are from pre-1974 while the yellow decals were used from 1974 until 1976.

The Gitane head badge decal is from about 1975-76 while the misplaced head badge decal at the bottom of the seat tube is from 1974-75.

Gitane didn't use the style seat stay plugs that your bike has.

I'm guessing that it's from the early through mid 80s, maybe Japanese, US or even Italian. Confused

Someone assembled a nice bike with a mixed batch of components.

What size is the seatpost? What are the treads on the bottom bracket cups?

I agree with Chas. I don't think it is a Gitane at all. Gitane didn't use those types of pump pegs.

Some bottom bracket cups have the thread size and type stamped into them along with the brand:
