Some of you may have seen this for sale in france this week.
This is the model i have been trying to find in a larger frame size.
Drove some to get it and seller was a bit strange and communicated with strange words and would not give phone number so was never sure about the deal until it was in the car.
Paid a little more than asking of 150 euros but the bike seems to have been used only a few times and then adjusted to ride as normal bike.
Tubes are Vitus 999
Equipment is Shimano Exage complete groupe with Mavic rims.
I think the bike was sold new this way and I believe it is pretty much original.
I was happily surprised that the front wheel is 650 which I didn't catch in the ad photo.
I can't place the year but it is lugged and has paint work from the early '90's?
Anyway, nice bike and worth saving from fate as fixie since several of these Gitane funny bike frames have been hacked about here in France.

Do you have any photos of yours posted somewhere? There is some guy trying to sell on ebay just the frame for 650$. I made offer for 75$ just for fun.

lol believe it or not dan i bought it off a fellow in france when the dollar was high for about 60 dollars .cost me about 150 dollars all together because of shipping
ill get some pics of just the bike itself tommorrow , having a pool party and fireworks today |
