Still working on a 600 rebuild, when I bought the thing it was missing the seat post. Any have an idea as to the what size it may be? The smallest I've found laying around was a 25.4 and it was still too big. Also, does anyone know where one can pick a pair of metric pedals?
Thanks |

Gitanes usually used 25mm or 25.8mm.
25mm seatposts are reasonably common because the were used on early aluminum and carbon fiber frames.
Here's listed on eBay from a seller in the UK. He wants ~$22.50 USD plus reasonable shipping:

I think that I have some NOS (New Old Stock) Lyotard 36 "rat trap" metric pedals plus matching toeclips. I'll PM (private meassage) you if I do. |
